Full Sister to below #14 doeling as you can
tell by the name and linear scoring = this is my pick!!!!!!! "Wendy"
was Virginia’s ADGA top ten production foundation, linear excellent doe
who had it ALL and my doeling’s Grand dam = might as well give these
kids names to live up to! Photo of Copper Hill Abe’s Wendy on our
SEMEN AVAILABLE page. Heritage Song Wendy is even the same color and
markings - YES!! Now for that gorgeous udder and large quantity of milk
…….. How I love a doe that milks! Note: her sister will out milk
her as Sonnet was precocious before bred… |

I saw this similar genetic doe -
a first freshener - at a show and fell in love. The young doe was
completely milked out and showed a stellar udder the following morning
with style. So here we go with one of my top does - "Blue" has it all
with that high rounded udder, correct teat placement and lots of milk.
Sonnet is large for her age, very flashy, just needing some age and an
udder to see if this experiment worked - ha. |

Well - this is my G6s
carrier. Barrowing an untested top buck who throws superior
udders. Sold a full genetic brother to “Sweet Ballad” -
I am keeping her for comparison. Ballad is long, wide and
sharp. All her kids will be tested before leaving the farm.
Ballad is bred to Sonsational who is G6s normal of course. Only
normal kids will be available.

I set this doeling up with
the name - "Brianna" = one of Becky’s top foundation does whom
placed 1st in 3 yr old class at "08" Nationals. This
is my doeling’s Great Grand dam. Wide belled ears, beautiful
Nubian head = as Harvey Considine said "and the rest follows" she
is indeed very special and my daughter Rachel’s 1st
choice of the kids kept - a former ADGA judge and avid Nubian
lover. Quite a growthy doeling and very correct. |

I let this doeling down by
not having her linear appraised - but as she continued to out grow
kids older than her and get wider I decided to breed this year.
This is all John White’s fault "wasting a year on dry doeling" so
no more 2 yr old first fresheners "unless May born". They
really do seem to grow well, freshen and milk as yearlings.
Cinn-sation is showing the top udder placing at this time. Very
high and wide. The breeders out West have had GREAT results
with these genetics. |

We
continue to hold our numbers down as Randy and I both work off
the farm, manage a cow/calf herd, grain crops, hay crops and the
dairy
goats are on DHI, Linear Appraised and shown.
